Caroline joined our corporate recovery and insolvency team in 2019, bringing with her over 14 years of specialist experience in this discipline of law.
Caroline joined Endeavour as a Senior Associate within the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team in February 2019.
She has over 14 years specialising in this area of law, in particular working with in-house Insolvency Practitioners. This has given her first-hand experience of working with office-holders and knowledge of IP practice and procedures.
In addition to in-house practitioners, Caroline has also worked for external Insolvency Practitioners across the UK. She has advised on matters including bringing preference claims, applications involving transactions at an undervalue and those defrauding creditors. She has also dealt with many other Insolvency Act and Chancery applications, including misfeasance and breach of duty claims, and applications for block transfer of appointments.
Caroline has developed her knowledge considerably over her years in the legal sector, successfully working for individual debtors in this challenging area of law particularly in negotiating a settlement of claims against property within bankruptcy, including assignments of equity, and in bringing applications to annul a bankruptcy order.
She has also worked on behalf of corporate debtors and creditors, dealing with asset transfer agreements and share sale agreements within the non-contentious area of restructuring; but also in contentious matters such as making applications for use of prohibited company names after liquidation, and making applications for validation orders after the presentation of a winding-up petition against a company.”
