Jessica is a key member of our Employment Law and HR team, specialising in data protection compliance and training.
Jessica graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 and first came to the Endeavour Partnership in 2013 when she joined the firm on one of its Summer vacation placements. Thereafter in 2015, Jessica successfully applied for a training contract with the firm which took place over the next two years.
After successfully completing her training, Jessica qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and accepted a permanent role in our Employment Law and HR department.
Jessica is experienced in dealing with a variety of complex employment matters, working on behalf of both the employer and the employee. Day to day, Jessica’s caseload consists of both non-contentious and contentious matters, from drafting complex employment documentation to preparing for and advising clients on Employment Tribunal claims.
In addition, Jessica is heavily involved in the firm’s data protection offering. Jessica has advised numerous clients, from start-up businesses to international companies, on all aspects of data protection, including the implications of the GDPR and the new Data Protection Act. Jessica also provides a bespoke training package to businesses, educating data protection officers who are new to the role or who feel that they would benefit from ongoing external support.
Outside of her client work, Jessica enjoys working with local educational bodies in their career and enterprise offerings as an Enterprise Adviser and provides support to up and coming businesses across Teesside.
I found the training Jessica provided really useful and informative. Jessica clearly explained what we needed to do as an organisation to comply with the GDPR. I can confidently say that receiving the training has not only benefited myself as a DPO, but also the rest of my Academy Trust as a result.
