We act for a number of local landlords and estates, dealing with all of the day to day issues that arise in relation to property portfolios, from day to day matters such as licences to assign, sublet or alter, pursuing rent arrears and the like to more complex issues such as advising on the application of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987 to a proposed sale of property including flats, or sales and purchases of a portfolio of tenanted properties.

- security of tenure, lease renewals and other procedures under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954;
- dilapidations claims;
- interpretation and applicability of tenant’s break clauses;
- preparation of letting schemes for new estates; and
- termination of leases, whether through forfeiture or otherwise.
