Our property clients can access legal advice and support from an experienced and growing team.
Our lawyers have many years of experience in all aspects of the property sector including both commercial and residential development, landlord and tenant and agricultural property, as well as dealing with the potentially contaminated land that is common in the Tees Valley region.
We act for a number of developers in relation to commercial and retail developments throughout the Tees Valley and beyond. Developments we have assisted on include a redevelopment of a heavy industrial site to retail and business use, provision of a 12 unit retail development in a primarily residential area, development of the country’s largest indoor water park at Scarborough and instructions in relation to the proposed snow centre on Middlehaven in Middlesbrough.
Agricultural and estate clients form a significant part of our client base, ranging from small family-owned farms to large landed estates, with everything in between. Work for these clients ranges from routine lettings to options or promotion agreements with supermarkets.
We also have a lot of experience in the landlord and tenant sector, acting for both owners and tenants. We represent a number of local landlords in the legal aspects of the management of their estates.
Our sector-specific knowledge and advice are complemented by the full range of legal services that we offer all of our clients in the property sector, such as debt collection, dispute resolution and commercial contracts advice.
