Carly Cornell

Carly joined the Commercial Property team as an associate in 2019.

Carly was born and raised in Teesside and went on to study at the University of Warwick before joining a regional law firm in Leeds to undertake her training contract. Upon qualification, Carly moved to an international law firm in Leeds and then made the move back to Teesside to join another international law firm based in Newcastle. Carly brought with her the knowledge and experience she gained from working at these firms and dealing with often high value, complex property transactions for a wide range of clients.

Carly specialises in commercial property and has experience of a variety of commercial property matters including acquisitions and disposals for both investor and occupier clients, landlord and tenant work including portfolio management work and general estate management work for a broad range of clients in both the public and private sector.

Carly has acted on behalf of clients from a wide range of sectors including Property, Education, Charity, Healthcare and Franchising.
