Deborah joined the firm in 2018 as a partner with a specialism in banking and finance work.
Bringing over 33 years of legal expertise to the firm, Deborah joined our corporate and commercial department as a partner.
Deborah is responsible for developing and supporting the firm’s growing several banking and finance clients, using her extensive legal knowledge to promote a new borrower-led service that is aimed at assisting businesses looking to raise finance by getting them “borrower ready”.
From her previous roles at two major Newcastle firms, Deborah is highly regarded as a leading lawyer within the banking and finance sector having advised both borrowers and lenders. She has advised businesses, both local to international, in relation to their borrowing requirements. Deborah has also acted in many of the region’s most complex and high-value deals within the football, hotel and student accommodation sectors.
She has experience working on a wide range of corporate banking, acquisition and development finance transactions.
