Ged was promoted to partner in 2017 and plays a key role in our commercial disputes team as head of department.
Commencing employment with the firm in January 2016, Ged previously spent 15 years with a national law firm. After qualifying as a solicitor in 2002, he has practised as a commercial disputes lawyer ever since. Originally joining the firm in an Associate role, Ged was promoted to partner in 2017.
Ged is an experienced commercial disputes lawyer who specializes in contractual and tortious disputes, including fraud cases, professional negligence claims, claims against suppliers, partnership/shareholder disputes, warranty claims and contract disputes more generally. He has acted for clients through litigation, mediation, and arbitration.
Advising both public and private sector clients, Ged has dealt with a variety of sectors, including manufacturing & engineering, chemical, energy, transport, regeneration, waste, education, sports, and entertainment. He has also managed disputes in a number of jurisdictions.
