Jessica joined our team as a Trainee Solicitor in 2020 and is now in our employment law department.
Over the next 2 years, Jessica will develop her legal knowledge and gain hands-on experience within our different departments. Her first seat is with our commercial disputes and corporate insolvency team.
Jessica completed her degree in international legal studies at Newcastle University, enjoying an exchange year at the University of Hong Kong. She went on to complete her LPC at the University of Law in Leeds, gaining a distinction.
Whilst in Hong Kong, Jessica participated in several voluntary classes, one focused on teaching migrant workers about their employment rights and how they could better protect themselves. In addition, Jessica was involved in a groundbreaking project with Amnesty International, examining the human rights abuses in Syria. This involved digitally verifying and documenting human rights abuse through social media.
During her studies, Jessica completed an 8-week summer internship at Froese Law in Toronto. Her time there was spent focusing on Intellectual Property in the fashion sector.
