Sophie joined the firm in 2019 as a trainee and is now a qualified solicitor in our dispute resolution team.
Moving away from the North East for university, Sophie graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2017 with a first-class degree. Whilst at university, Sophie volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau as a Gateway Assessor and helped progress her career in law after being selected to take part in the university’s professional mentoring scheme.
Wanting to return to the local area, Sophie then completed her LPC at Northumbria University and shortly after obtained a training contract with the firm. Gaining valuable experience in all departments, she then secured a permanent role in the firm’s Commercial Disputes team and qualified as a solicitor in September 2021.
