Our corporate and commercial team has provided legal advice to training business, TTE, for their acquisition of Infinite Learning & Development Ltd (ILD), a Peterlee based training provider.
TTE, based in Middlesbrough, said the deal will strengthen its position in the technical training industry, providing attractive growth and geographical reach opportunities for both businesses.
ILD was founded in 2010, employs eight staff and turns over around £500k. Its work focuses on fabrication and welding, business improvement techniques and simulated working environments for clients including manufacturer Caterpillar, supermarket giant Asda and baking company Warburton’s.
The team that assisted on the transaction was led by Senior Associate, Martin Mckinnell with assistance from Sean Jackson from our Corporate team, Jessica Maine from the Employment team and Alexandra Ketchley, a Senior Associate from our Commercial Property department.
Martin said: “It was a pleasure to work with the team at TTE on this acquisition, which sees them further strengthen their offering for the benefit of both its existing and prospective customers. These are exciting times for TTE as it looks to further build on its already exceptional reputation.”
