Endeavour’s employment team is hosting the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development’s June briefing on the subject of re-structuring a business.
This briefing will focus on how an employer should handle a re-structuring programme, whether than involves downsizing, merging or disposing of part of a business. We will cover matters such as the impact of TUPE, how to deal with variations to contracts of employment, changes to employees’ roles or duties, and dealing with unfair dismissal/redundancy issues, together with guidance on how to handle the overlapping information and consultation obligations and procedural requirements that these issues involve.
