Partners take to the streets for CEO Sleepout

Posted by Lotty Reeves on 26th April 2016

Two of Endeavour Partnership’s team will be sleeping rough on the streets on Teesside in May to raise money for local poverty and homelessness charities.

Nik Tunley, head of Endeavour Partnership’s corporate and commercial department, and Simon Wake, who manages the commercial property department, are taking part in the CEO Sleepout on May 12th on the Victorian Street at Preston Hall Museum in Eaglescliffe as part of the national event which challenges business leaders all over the UK to sleep rough for one night.

Nik is also a trustee of CEO SleepoutUK which aims to raise awareness about the increasing number of people affected by poverty and homelessness.

Nik said: “This is the third time I have taken part in the CEO Sleepout and each time it receives even more support from our fantastic local business community. There are dozens of business leaders signed up to take part in this really important event that raises much needed funds for local people in need.”

Simon added: “The CEO Sleepout is such a great cause to support as, sad to say, that more people are affected by poverty than ever before. Sleeping rough for just one night is a very small contribution to this vast issue and we really hope we can raise lots of awareness and as much money as possible to help those who need it the most.”

If you’d like to support Simon please see the below link to his Just Giving page. All donations, great or small, will be much appreciated.
