Nik Tunley

Nik heads up the firm’s Corporate and Commercial team and specialises M&A, in banking and finance.

After qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004 with a large North East based firm he joined Endeavour Partnership a few years later and became a partner in 2012. Nik has gained a great insight into how the local economy and businesses work helping him to provide bespoke advice to his clients. The clients for whom he has acted range from local SME’s to large multi-national organisations.

Nik specialises principally in M&A, banking and finance. His work is focused around M&A advice for small to medium UK-based companies, as well as having involvement with several international mergers and acquisitions – some of the largest transactions in which the firm has been retained over recent years.

Working within a variety of sectors such as retail, renewables, technology and e-commerce, relevant examples of matters Nik has acted on are:

  • the growth capital raise for The Feel Good Group from Perwyn and HSBC as part of the plans to continue its store rollout strategy.
  • the management buy-out of Richmond Fire Engineers which has offices in Richmond, Manchester and Newcastle.

In the first half of the firms 2017/2018 financial year our Corporate team has been retained on 63 transactions with a cumulative transaction value of £245m.
